A labour-intensive FM operation aimed to increase efficiency and needed concrete cost-saving proposals across its tendering activity and customer portfolio. Certain clients and objects were unprofitable, but it was unclear which ones and why.
The task was to identify underperforming contracts, understand the root causes behind elevated costs, and develop concrete actions.
Full assignment ownership and analysis leadership
Responsible for leading and coordinating the analysis work, including data collection, KPI development, analysis of submitted tenders, and identification of variances against actual outcomes.
Analysis and profitability improvement in an FM company
Analysis of the customer portfolio and KPIs at client and object level, identification of underperforming contracts and improvement opportunities. Review of revenue and cost structure and comparison between actual results and tender calculations.
Action proposals and strategic recommendations
Development of concrete improvement proposals for increased profitability at contract level, identification of incorrect calculation assumptions, and support for further decisions on pricing, renegotiations, and tendering strategy.
