Operations could not be disrupted – the buses had to run every day. Major change for staff with the risk of resistance, uncertainty, and productivity loss.
Full responsibility for workstreams
Responsible for all HR-related workstreams with a strong focus on organisational change and change management.
Building the new organisation
Appointment and onboarding of new operational management and administrative functions, including redundancy management and recruitment. Staffing plan for approximately 500 shift workers.
Clear communication
Communication plan and execution of staff meetings. Implementation of an information portal for employees transferring to the new employer.
New collective agreement
A new comprehensive local collective agreement replacing four previously disparate agreements with significant complexity. Training of managers and individuals in people management roles.
New systems and processes
Competency mapping and implementation of system support for training. Data quality assurance for payroll system, issuing of new employment contracts, and ensuring correct salaries paid on time.
